In 2001, Dillon co-founded A.C.T. (Acting for Cinema and Television), a company that offers screen training courses in Ottawa, and does its part to introduce local performers to casting agents and producers. He has a lot of fond memories of co-managing the growing company and teaching adult screen acting classes. Currently, Pete teaches screen acting from time to time for various organizations throughout the city.

In April 2005, Peter was named one of the Ottawa Business Journal’s “Top Forty Under 40"; an award that acknowledges Ottawa’s business elite. That same year Peter was named one of “Ottawa’s Top 50 People” by Ottawa Life Magazine.
